The Climate and People Welfare Council (CPWC) is dedicated to fostering inclusive and sustainable development across rural and urban India. With a focus on community empowerment, social equity and environmental resilience, CPWC works at the intersection of policy, grassroots engagement and institutional capacity-building.
Its initiatives span skill development, education, sustainable livelihoods, public health, climate action and social welfare. Inspired by the policy vision of various ministries of the Government of India, CPWC undertakes programmes that strengthen institutional frameworks and support last-mile delivery.
While independently governed, the Council's work complements public-sector efforts and actively supports grassroots implementation through a growing network of field units, training centres and research collaborations.

CPWC offers a multi-tiered membership structure designed to engage individuals, institutions, and eminent personalities in our mission for sustainable development. Each tier — from National to Village level — offers distinct rights, benefits, and responsibilities.
Membership Levels (Overview)
National Level (NGC)
Shape national policy and represent CPWC globally.
State Level (SGB)
Drive change at state level through policy roundtables and state councils.
District Level (DGB)
Lead local welfare and climate programs, participate in district councils.
Block Level (BGB)
Bridge community projects and district programs. Collaborate locally.
Village Level (VGB)
Grassroots participation and volunteering in welfare and awareness programs.
